TCA Technologies was built more than 25 years ago on the belief that industrial automation solutions can combine state-of-the-art technology with quality built and dependable equipment in a solution-driven environment.

David Nelson studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and following graduation gained a wide range of experience in the field of industrial automation. In 1996 Dave founded TriCity Automation in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. The company earned a reputation as a dependable supplier of innovative, high-quality automated systems for manufacturers in numerous industries. Steady growth followed and in 2002 the company moved into its current facility located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
In 2007 the corporate name was changed to TCA Technologies Inc to better reflect the wide range of capabilities and expertise within the organization. At its heart, TCA has remained a designer and builder of cutting-edge, automated manufacturing systems but our customer-centred approach has resulted in our involvement in product and process development, materials development and manufacturing support services.
